Ultraviolet Bird Videos

The videos here show two different aspects of UV coloration in birds. The first video compares normal color footage with the UV-only monochrome footage. You will see some additional birds that are not in the slides. For the second video, I developed a new technique for processing the video footage. This combines the UV and standard footage together in the same way that I did with the still images on this site. The videos were recorded at the National Aviary in Pittsburg.
